【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=장동현 진천군의회 의장은 15일 ‘2025 영동세계국악엑스포 유치기원 챌린지’에 동참했다.

 이번 챌린지는 난계 박연 선생의 탄생지인 영동군이 추진 중인 ‘2025 영동세계국악엑스포 유치 기원 캠페인’으로, 송기섭 진천군수의 지명을 받아 동참하게 됐다.

‘2025 영동 세계국악엑스포'는 2025년 9월 12일부터 10월 11일까지 30일간 열릴 예정이며 '국악으로 만나는 미래문화, 희망으로 치유받다'를 주제로 한다.

 장동현 의장은 “이웃 군인 영동군에서 세계적인 국악엑스포가 유치되기를 기원하고, 세계국악엑스포가 전 국민적 관심과 사랑을 받길 기대한다”면서, “더불어 국악 대중화와 세계화에 초석이 되길 응원한다”고 전했다.

 장 의장은 다음 챌린지 참여자로 홍석원 진천경찰서장, 오은주 진천교육지원청 교육장, 이장환 농협진천군지부장을 지목했다.
