【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시는 15일 제천시청 박달재실에서 국민건강보험공단 인재개발원(원장 김훈택), 한국환경공단 인재개발원(원장 고호영), 제천경찰수련원(원장 이상기)과 ‘상생발전을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다.

  김창규 제천시장, 김훈택 원장, 고호영 원장, 이상기 원장 외 관계자가 참석한 가운데 개최된 이번 협약식은, 시 민선8기 출범과 코로나19 회복 국면을 맞아 상생발전 협력 분위기를 이끌고, 새롭게 우의를 약속하며 지역발전과 각 기관의 번영을 도모하고자 마련됐다.

  시는 코로나19로 중단되었던 각 연수원 교육운영이 올해부터 정상화될 것이라 전망하며, 교육생 및 가족 등 연간 30명 이상이 제천을 방문할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

  특히 지역생산 청정 식자재 및 농산물 구입, 지역문화탐방 및 경제활성화 협력, 인구유입 시책 협력, 지역인재 고용 협력, 원활한 연수원 운영 지원, 기타 각 기관이 필요한 사항 등을 적극 협력해 나갈 방침이다.

  시는 이번 협약을 기점으로 각종 투어프로그램을 운영해 위축된 지역경제를 회복하고, 민선8기 역점목표인 하루 평균 5,000명 체류관광객을 확보하겠다는 입장이다.
