【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군은 지구 온난화 및 미세먼지 발생의 주요 원인인 이산화탄소 배출을 줄이기 위해 노후경유차 배출가스 저감장치 부착과 건설기계 엔진교체 지원 사업을 추진한다고 13일 밝혔다.

  올해는 매연저감장치(DPF) 약 48대, 노후 건설기계 엔진교체 약 37대를 지원한다.

  지원 대상은 관내에 등록된 노후 경유차 5등급 차량과 2004년식 이전 배출허용기준(Tier-1이하)으로 제작된 건설기계(지게차, 굴착기)다.

  매연저감장치의 가격은 차종별 271~652만 원 선이며 약 90%를 지원하고 10%인 27~65만 원은 자부담해야 한다.

  다만 기초생활수급자 차량의 경우 전액 지원한다. 

  신청 기간은 오는 24일까지이며, 접수된 차량의 제작 연도가 오래되지 않은 순으로 선정한다.

  최종 대상자을 뽑기 전 예비 대상자를 선정하며 환경개선부담금 등 체납이 있을 경우 대상자 선정이 취소된다.

  건설기계 엔진교체 지원사업은 지게차 또는 굴착기의 엔진교체시 발생하는 비용의 전액(차종별 936만원~1천 929만원)을 지원한다. 

  13일부터 예산소진 시까지 방문 신청이 가능하며 접수순으로 대상자를 선정한다.

  군 관계자는 “해당 사업은 미세먼지 및 대기오염물질 저감을 위한 방안 중 하나인 만큼 군민들의 적극적인 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”라고 말했다.
