【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주상공회의소(회장 이두영)는 오는 3월 17일까지 ‘중대재해방지 컨설팅 지원사업’ 참여기업을 모집한다.

  충청북도와 함께 지난해 시범사업으로 처음 시작된 본 사업은 도내 중소기업의 맞춤형 안전보건관리체계 구축을 통해 중대재해를 예방하고, 지역 내 안전경영 문화를 조성하기 위해 추진되는 사업이다.

  주요내용으로 전문기관 컨설턴트들이 기업을 방문해 중대재해처벌법에 대한 대표 및 임직원을 대상으로 한 교육을 비롯해 유해․위험요인을 파악하고 개선대책을 수립하는 위험성평가를 중심으로 한 안전보건관리체계를 구축할 수 있도록 컨설팅을 지원한다.

  지원대상은 중대재해처벌법에 대응하기 위한 도내 제조(기타)업 중소기업 50개사로, 신청기업이 많을 경우에는 고위험사업장, 상시근로자 수, 안전보건관리자 선임 유무 등에 대해 우선순위를 고려해 최종 선정된다.

  참여를 희망하는 기업은 청주상공회의소 홈페이지 공지사항을 참조해 신청서 및 구비서류를 기한 내 제출하면 된다.

  청주상공회의소 관계자는 “내년부터 중처법이 50인 미만 사업장에도 적용되는데, 재정․인력 사정이 열악한 중소기업들의 준비가 부족한 것이 현실”이라며 “컨설팅을 통해 선제적으로 안전보건관리체계를 구축하고 대응하는 노력이 필요하다”고 말했다.
