【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군가족센터(센터장 현연희)는 2일 지역 내 거주하는 초･중･고 입학 예정 자녀를 둔 학부모 20여명을 대상으로 ‘예비 학부모교육’을 실시했다. 

증평군가족센터가 개최한 이번 예비 학부모 교육은 처음 학교에 입학하는 자녀를 둔 학부모에게 학교생활에 대한 궁금증 해결 및 자녀의 학교생활 적응 지원에 기여하고자 마련됐다.

이번 교육은 현장 전문가인 지역 내 초등학교 교사를 교육 강사로 섭외하여 교육 전반을 지원했다.

교육 내용으로는 자녀의 입학 전 알아두어야 할 내용, 입학 전 준비사항, 학부모의 역할, 교육과정 및 평가 방법 안내, 자존감 높이는 법, 자기주도 학습 지도 내용 등 다양한 정보 제공을 통해 자녀의 초기 학교생활에 대한 학부모의 역할과 준비사항에 대해 자세하게 안내했다. 

또한, 지역 내 초･중･고 예비 학부모의 궁금증을 해결하기 위해 10월, 11월 중에도 추가 교육을 진행할 예정이다.

교육에 참석한 한 학부모는 "학교 입학 전 준비사항과 자녀 학습을 위해 학부모가 알아야 할 사항들을 자세히 안내해줘서 많은 도움이 되었다”는 소감을 밝혔다.

현연희 증평군가족센터장은 “자녀의 취학 전 많은 학부모들이 느끼는 막연한 불안감이 이번 교육으로 다소나마 해소될 수 있는 기회가 되었기를 바란다”고 말했다.
