It will be established in Jeungpyeong-gun, and as the second phase of the project, 9 billion won will be invested to create 8 forests. In addition, detailed design will be carried out in Chungju, which will start a new project this year, and construction will be carried out for three years until 2025.

Its importance as a base is increasing day by day.

According to the National Academy of Forest Sciences, urban forests reduce the average daytime temperature by 3 to 7 degrees Celsius, and 1 ha of forest absorbs and absorbs 168 kg of air pollutants including 46 kg of fine dust per year, which is excellent for air purification and climate mitigation. It is said to be effective.
