【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군 청년자립도전 자활근로사업단 ‘청년카페 호시절’이 2021년 전국 청년자립도전사업 우수사례 공모에서 2년 연속 도전상에 선정되는 영예를 안았다.

  운영기관인 진천지역자활센터는 지난해 1월 진천종합버스터미널 내 호두과자 전문 카페인 청년카페를 개소해 자활사업에 참여하는 청년들이 자립의 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.

  도전상을 수상한 ‘청년카페 호시절’은 참여자 역량강화, 사업단 운영, 지역연계, 개인 또는 사업성과에 대한 정성평가에서 고르게 우수평가를 받았으며, 특히 참여자 사례관리 부문에서 두각을 나타내 좋은 평가를 받았다.

  신성철 진천지역자활센터장은 “앞으로도 청년자립도전사업단 참여 청년들이 자립의 꿈을 이룰 수 있도록 맞춤형 지원을 해나갈 계획”이라며 “상금으로 받은 400만원 또한 청년카페의 활성화를 위해 소중하게 쓸 예정” 이라고 말했다.

  한편 진천지역자활센터는 무료급식, 양곡배송, 카페형매점 등 10개의 자활근로사업단 운영을 통해 50여명의 참여자에게 자활·자립을 지원하고 있으며 맘찬, 싸리비 등 사회적기업을 포함한 6개의 자활기업을 운영‧지원하고 있다.
