【브레이크뉴스 충북】김병주 기자=충주시는 제17회 전국우수시장박람회에서 충주옹달샘시장 김은희 회장이 전통시장 활성화 유공 포상을 받았다고 8일 밝혔다.

올해로 17회를 맞는 2021 전국우수시장박람회는 중소벤처기업부, 소상공인시장진흥공단, 전국상인연합회, 전통시장 상인 및 소상공인 등 1천여 명이 함께 만드는 전통시장 상인들을 위한 축제의 장이다.

특히, 올해 박람회에서는 김은희 회장이 전통시장 활성화 유공 포상 중 전국에서 단 1명의 유공자에게만 주어지는 정부 산업포장 수훈의 영예를 안았다.

김은희 회장을 비롯한 옹달샘시장 상인회는 세대를 초월해 사랑받는 시장환경 조성을 위해 지난 2020년 전통시장 문화관광형 사업 및 2021년 주차환경 개선사업 등을 추진해 오고 있다.

또 김장김치 나눔 행사 등을 통해 복지 사각지대 해소에 적극적으로 나서는 등 공동체 상생을 위한 활동에도 적극적인 모습을 보여줘 주민으로 부터 호평을 받고 있다.
