【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=(재)음성장학회(이사장 조병옥 음성군수)는 기능경기대회에 참가해 수상한 학생들을 기능 우수 장학생으로 선발해 22일 군청 2층 상황실에서 장학증서 수여식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

기능 우수 장학금은 음성군 금왕읍에 소재한 충북반도체고등학교 학생 중 전국 기능경기대회와 충북 지방기능경기대회에서 입상한 경우 성적에 따라 50만원에서 최대 200만원까지 지급하는 장학지원 사업이다.

이날 수여식에서 전국 기능경기대회 산업용 로봇 분야 은메달을 받은 3학년 이준범 학생을 비롯한 10명의 학생들에게 총 1120만원의 장학금이 지급됐다.

조병옥 (재)음성장학회 이사장은 “충북반도체고등학교 학생들이 기능경기대회의 다양한 분야에서 끊임없이 노력한 성과를 이뤄내 대견하고 기쁘게 생각한다”며, “앞으로도 기술 강국을 위한 초석이 될 수 있도록 더욱 힘써주길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편, 음성장학회는 기능 우수 장학금뿐만 아니라 성적우수 장학금, 다문화 가족 자녀 장학금, 다자녀 가구 학생 장학금, 꿈드림 장학금 등 미래 음성군을 이끌어갈 인재를 양성하기 위해 다양한 장학금을 지원하고 있다.
