【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주대학교(총장 김윤배)는 최근 폐막한 제29회 부천국제판타스틱영화제(BIFAN)에서 자교 출신 김민하 감독의 ‘교생실습’이 코리안 판타스틱 장편부문에서 작품상과 배우상을 수상하며 2관왕을 차지했다고 14일 밝혔다.

교생실습(Teaching Practice: Idiot Girls and school Ghost 2)은 독창적인 이야기와 시대상을 반영한 높은 완성도로 관객과 심사위원의 호평을 받았다.

‘교생실습’은 모교로 교생실습을 온 열정 가득한 예비 선생님이 전국 모의고사 1등을 달리고 있는 동아리 소녀들의 비밀을 밝혀내기 위한 고군분투를 그린 호러 코미디 장르 작품이다. 

이 ‘교생실습’에서 주인공 ‘강은경’ 역을 맡은 배우 한선화는 무너진 교권을 회복하고자 하는 교생 선생님의 열정과 사명감을 유쾌하고 진정성 있게 그려내며 ‘코리안 판타스틱 배우상’ 을 수상했다.

‘교생실습’은 BIFAN에서 월드 프리미어로 상영됐으며, 예매 오픈 단 4분 30초만에 전 회차가 매진되며 화제작으로 떠올랐다.

이에 따라 ‘교생실습’은 이번 수상을 계기로 극장 개봉에도 한층 속도를 낼 것으로 보인다.

앞서 지난해 열린 28회 BIFAN에서도 청주대 영화학과 출신인 김민하 감독은 ‘아메바 소녀들과 학교괴담’으로 감독상과 ‘왓챠가 주목한 장편상’을 수상하는 등 2관왕에 오른 바 있다.

또한 김민하 감독은 슈퍼히어로(2021)와 혈세(2021), 빨간마스크KF94(2022), 버거송챌린지(2023) 등 특색있는 작품을 연출해 주목을 받았다.
