【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군은 2일 22년간 발 건강 교육과 봉사활동을 이어온 김현자 씨(69세, 김현자발박사연구원장)가 충북도에서 주최한 ‘자랑스러운 직업인’ 평생직업인 분야에 선정돼 증서를 전수했다고 전했다.

김현자 씨는 발반사요법 등 다양한 발 관리 방법을 연구하고, 100개 이상의 자격증을 보유하고 있다.

‘발사랑 운동’을 통해 지역주민들에게 발 건강의 중요성을 알리고 있으며, 발 건강 교육을 비롯해 치매 예방 및 건강증진에 관한 다양한 교육을 제공하고 있다. 특히, 마을회관, 보건소 등에서 어르신들을 대상으로 발 건강 교육을 펼치며, 건강한 옥천 만들기와 직업문화 확산에 기여해 왔다.

또한 심폐소생술, 건강가정사 등의 자격증을 바탕으로 옥천군 노인·장애인복지관 등에서 무료 특강과 봉사활동을 진행하며 웃음운동치료사 자격증을 활용한 유머러스한 교육 방식으로 지역주민들과 유대감을 쌓았다.
