이번 체험마당은 생활 속 안전에 대한 다양한 체험 기회를 제공해 어린이들의 안전사고 대처 능력을 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다.

이번 행사는 관내 미취학 아동 및 초등학생 230여 명이 참여해 교통안전, 감염병 예방, 수상안전 등 다양한 안전 교육 프로그램에 직접 참여하며 유익한 시간을 보냈다.

특히 교통안전 체험에서는 실제 상황을 가상으로 재현해 어린이들이 안전한 도로 횡단 방법과 교통 신호의 중요성을 자연스럽게 익히는 기회를 제공했다.

또 킥보드 사용법과 보호장구 착용의 중요성에 대한 교육은 어린이와 학부모들로부터 큰 관심을 받았다.

군 관계자는 “이번 재난안전 체험마당을 통해 어린이들이 안전사고에 대한 대처 능력을 키우고, 올바른 생활 습관을 형성하는데 도움이 됐길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 어린이들의 안전을 최우선으로 고려한 다양한 체험교육 프로그램을 확대 운영하겠다”고 밝혔다.
