【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주시가 농업인 1만9천425명을 대상으로 올해 기본형 공익직불금 246억원을 지급한다고 2일 밝혔다.

기본형 공익직불금은 농업‧농촌의 공익기능 증진과 농업인의 소득안정을 도모하기 위해, 일정 자격을 갖추고 준수사항을 이행하는 농업인 등에게 지급하는 보조금이다.

시는 지난 2월부터 5월까지 공익직불금 신청을 접수하고, 10월까지 농지와 농업인 자격요건 및 준수사항 이행에 따른 감액 여부 등을 고려해 지급 대상자와 지급액을 확정했다.

올해 지급되는 소규모농가 직접지불금(소농직불금) 대상은 5천948명으로 총 77억원을 지급한다. 면적직불금 대상은 1만3천477명으로 총 지급금은 169억원이다. 

시는 지난 29일부터 직불금을 지급하고 있으나, 계좌오류 등의 사유로 지급되지 않은 대상자들에 대한 직불금은 12월 13일 지급할 예정이다.
