【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=진천교육지원청(교육장 서강석)은 지난 11월 30일 지역특화 글로벌 미래 인재 양성을 목표로 한 진천 IT 스카우트 성과보고회가 학생, 학부모, 지역사회 관계자가 참석한 가운데 성황리에 개최되었다고 밝혔다. 

이번 보고회는 SW와 AI를 주제로, 미래를 준비하는 초중 학생 30명이 미국 실리콘밸리에서 얻은 경험과 배움을 공유하는 자리였다.

  진천군청과 대응투자로 이뤄진 IT 스카우트 국외 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 실리콘밸리의 주요 기업 탐방, 현지 전문가와의 인터뷰, 그리고 혁신적 프로젝트 발표를 통해 글로벌 IT 생태계를 직접 체험했다. 

  이번 성과보고회를 통해 학생들은 실리콘밸리에서 체험한 7일간의 여정을 공유하며, 글로벌 혁신 현장을 보고 느낀 점을 발표했다. 또한 실리콘밸리에서 활동하는 전문가 및 기업가와의 인터뷰를 통해 얻은 통찰을 공유하며, 혁신을 이끄는 리더들의 철학과 비전을 전달했다.

끝으로 학생들이 직접 기획한 SW·AI 기반 프로젝트를 실리콘밸리의 스타트업 피칭 형식으로 발표하고 실리콘밸리에서 얻은 경험을 바탕으로 학생들이 직접 개발한 SW 작품을 시연했다.

  행사에 참석한 학부모는“미래의 글로벌 리더로 성장할 학생들이 실리콘밸리에서 얻은 값진 경험과 교훈을 이 자리에서 나눌 수 있어 뜻깊다”며, “이들이 보여준 열정과 창의성이 대한민국의 디지털 미래를 밝게 비출 것”이라고 말했다.

Jincheon Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Kang-seok) announced that the Jincheon IT Scout Performance Report Meeting, which aims to develop regionally specialized global future talent, was successfully held on November 30 with the attendance of students, parents, and community members. This report meeting was a place where 30 elementary and middle school students preparing for the future shared their experiences and learnings from Silicon Valley in the United States, with the theme of SW and AI.

Students who participated in the IT Scout Overseas Program, which was conducted through Jincheon County Office and corresponding investment, experienced the global IT ecosystem firsthand through visits to major Silicon Valley companies, interviews with local experts, and presentations on innovative projects.

Through this performance report meeting, students shared their seven-day journey in Silicon Valley and presented what they felt after seeing the global innovation scene. They also shared insights gained through interviews with experts and entrepreneurs working in Silicon Valley, and conveyed the philosophy and vision of leaders leading innovation. Finally, the students presented their SW·AI-based projects that they had planned themselves in the form of a Silicon Valley startup pitch, and demonstrated SW works that the students had developed themselves based on their experiences in Silicon Valley.
