【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자단양야간학교(교장 이승관)는 지난 28일 성인문해교육지원센터에서 제24회 졸업식을 개최했다.

이날 졸업식은 김문근 단양군수와 졸업생, 가족, 야간학교 교사 등 60여 명이 참석했다.

참석자들은 올해 검정고시를 통해 초·중·고등학교 졸업 자격을 취득한 7명(초등 2명, 중등 3명, 고등 2명)에게 열렬한 축하를 보냈다.

김문근 단양군수는 “오늘 졸업식을 통해 배움의 결실을 맺으신 졸업생분들을 진심으로 축하드린다”며 “단양야간학교가 여러분처럼 꿈을 향한 열정을 가진 모든 이들에게 희망과 배움의 기회를 제공하는 소중한 배움터로 계속 발전하길 바란다”고 축하의 말을 전했다.

이승관 교장은 “단양야간학교는 단순히 학력을 위한 공간이 아니라, 꿈을 이루는 배움의 장이자 인생을 새롭게 시작할 수 있는 희망의 터전”이라며 “오늘 졸업생들이 보여준 열정과 용기는 다른 이들에게 귀감이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

단양야간학교는 검정고시 준비, 한문 강의 등 여러 강좌를 개설해 운영하고 있다.
