【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군(군수 송인헌)은 농업회사법인(주)가시버시(대표 김성윤)이 괴산군민장학회에 100만 원의 장학금을 기탁했다고 30일 밝혔다.

이번 기탁은 괴산 지역의 교육 지원과 우수 인재 양성에 기여하기 위한 것으로, 가시버시는 2023년에도 괴산군민장학회에 100만 원의 장학금을 기탁한 바 있다.

김성윤 대표는 “괴산군 지역발전을 위한 우수인재 양성에 도움이 되길 바라는 마음으로 장학금을 기탁했다”고 전했다.

괴산군 연풍면에 위치한 농업회사법인 (주)가시버시는 2020년 설립 이후 지역 농산물을 수매해 가공·판매하는 방식으로 농가의 소득 증대를 도모하고, 취약계층을 위한 일자리 창출에도 힘써왔다.

지난해에는 사회적 기업 인증을 받으며 지역사회 기여에 대한 공로를 인정받기도 했다.
