【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 중부내륙선 개통에 따라 고속철도 대형사고를 대비하여 2024년 재난대응 안전한국훈련을 중부내륙선 충주역에서 유관기관 합동훈련을 30일 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 훈련에서는 충주시를 포함해 한국철도공사, 충주소방서, 유관기관, 민간단체 등 15곳의 350여 명이 참여해 다수의 사상자가 발생한 재난 사고를 가정하여, 재난 발생 시 효과적으로 대응하기 위한 역량 강화 및 관계기관 협업 체계를 점검했다.

충주역 현장훈련에서는 KTX이음열차 외 33여 대의 각종 장비가 동원되었고 승객대피, 인명구조·구급, 시설 복구 순으로 진행되었으며, 현장훈련은 시청 재난안전상황실 토론훈련과 실시간으로 연계되었다.

재난 상황 컨트롤 타워인 재난안전대책본부는 재난 현장과 실시간으로 소통하며 현장의 요청 사항을 처리하고 사고피해자 지원 등 후속 처치를 실시했으며, 특히 조길형 시장은 재난안전대책본부장으로서 재난현장을 모니터링하고 지원하며 훈련을 주도했다.
