【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북경제자유구역청(청장 맹경재, 이하 경자청)은 충북창조경제혁신센터(이하 충북센터)와 함께 26일 오송 외국인창업자 수출역량강화를 위한 워크숍을 열었다고 밝혔다.

  증평 벨포레리조트에서 열린 워크숍에는 오송글로벌스타트업센터(청주SB플라자 3층) 외국인 창업자, 경차청, 세종발명진흥회, 충북센터 등 30여명이 참석했다. 

  참석자들은 니하트 강남글로벌빌리지센터 센터장으로부터 ‘외국인 창업자의 성공사례’와 이길준 관세사로부터‘FTA 활용을 통한 수출기업 역량강화’를 주제로 한 강의를 들었다.

  외국인창업자 하얀 인터네셔널 대표 메이 띵자 카이(미얀마)씨는“올초 외국인 창업지원 프로그램에 선발되어 무역 전문교육, 무역 전문가 멘토링, 창업공간 지원, 수출지원 등 실무에 필요한 인큐베이팅을 받고 있다”며 “덕분에 첫 수출계약 25,000불 등 사업이 순항중이다”라고 말했다.

  맹경재 경자청장은 “도내 중소기업의 우수제품을 외국인창업자와 연계해 수출할 수 있도록 힘쓰고 있다”며 “국제도시 오송의 입지를 다지고, 외국인도 자유롭게 창업할 수 있는 여건을 지속적으로 만들어 가겠다”라고 밝혔다.

   May Thingja Kai (Myanmar), CEO of Hayan International, a foreign entrepreneur, said, “I was selected for the foreign business start-up support program early this year and am receiving the necessary incubation, including trade training, trade expert mentoring, start-up space support, and export support,” and added, “Thanks to you, I am the first “Business is going smoothly, with $25,000 worth of export contracts signed,” he said.
