【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군 덕산읍에 소외된 이웃을 위한 백미 기탁이 이어지고 있다.

  국제로타리 3740지구 10지역 진천 미소로타리 클럽(회장 권윤미)은 30일 덕산읍행정복지센터를 방문해 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용해 달라며 백미 320kg(100만원 상당)을 기탁했다.

  지난 10일 새롭게 창단된 여성클럽 미소로타리의 초대 회장인 권윤미 씨는 “새로운 시작을 이웃과 함께 나눌 수 있어 기쁘고, 앞으로도 지속적인 봉사와 나눔 활동으로 따뜻한 지역사회를 만들 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

  같은 날 산수산업단지 기업체협의회(회장 김동규)에서도 관내 저소득 가구를 위해 입주 기업체 회원들이 준비한 백미 1000kg(300만원 상당)를 기탁했다.

  김 회장은 “어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움을 줄 수 있게 돼 기쁘다”라며 “앞으로도 지역사회 나눔 활동을 꾸준히 실천할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.

  이날 기탁된 백미는 읍내 저소득 취약계층에 전달될 예정이다.
