  신홍섭 한국농어촌공사 충북지역본부장은 16일 진천군청을 방문해 고향사랑기부금 100만 원을 전달했다.

  진천이 고향인 신 본부장은 한국농어촌공사 충북지역본부 농지은행부장, 진천지사장 등 주요 보직을 두루 거쳐, 지난 2021년 9월 한국농어촌공사 충북지역본부장으로 취임해 행복한 농어촌을 만들어 나가기 위해 앞장서고 있다.

  같은 날 한국농어촌공사 진천지사(지사장 이재선)에서도 성금 200만 원을 기탁했으며, 충북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 지역의 어려운 이웃에게 전달될 예정이다.

  신 본부장은 “고향 발전을 위해 힘을 보탤 수 있다는 것에 큰 기쁨을 느낀다”라며 “앞으로도 지속적으로 지역 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 하겠다”라고 말했다.

  송기섭 진천군수는 “진천군 지역 발전과 주민의 복리 증진을 위한 나눔에 동참하여 주신 것에 진심으로 감사드린다”라고 말했다.
