Yeongdong-gun, creating a rich rural village, full-fledged training for farmers in the new year 2021

Implemented the'pre-registration system for all courses', flexible operation in each step of social distancing

-im changyong reporte

Yeongdong-gun, North Chungcheong Province, overcame difficulties in rural areas caused by Corona 19 and others through practical training for farmers in the New Year and began preparation work to create a rich rural village.

From January 6, 2021 to January 28, 2021, the military is planning “Practical Training for New Year Farmers in 2021,” and decided to introduce a pre-registration system.

This is a preemptive measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to prolong the prolonged period while enhancing the agricultural competitiveness of the region.

Considering the safety of the civilians as a top priority, the entire process is conducted as a pre-registration system.

The pre-registration period is 15 days from December 1 (Tue) to 15 (Tue), and only military citizens who actually reside in Yeongdong-gun with resident registration can apply.

This program focuses on increasing farmers' income and improving their competitiveness through the establishment of new year farming plans for farmers and rapid dissemination of key farming technologies for each item for local specialty crops.

The Agricultural Technology Center targets 1,985 people 21 times, including grapes, apples, blueberries, plums, persimmons, peaches, peppers, watermelons, sweet potatoes, ginseng, GAP, eco-friendly agriculture, tractors, excavators, etc. Education is carried out.

In particular, unlike last year, in response to the Corona 19 era, it operates flexibly through collective education and online education for each stage of social distancing.

Social distancing is planned for the first stage of group education, the 1.5 stage for group education and online education at the same time, and the second stage for online education.

All group trainings are conducted on a 100% pre-registration system, and access is prohibited except for those who have already applied, and they are converted to open courses only when online training is conducted, and can be taken without restrictions.

To apply in advance, you can apply by phone or in person (Human Resources Development Team, Yeongdong-gun Agricultural Technology Center).

The county plans to announce the training schedule through the head of each village and promote active promotion using newsletters and SMS messages.

In order to help farmers taking the education and increase the attendance rate, all education starts at 1:30 pm and lasts for about 4 hours. Even if it is conducted through online education, the schedule will not change because it is conducted in real time.

For detailed training schedules, contact the HR Development Team of the Yeongdong-gun Agricultural Technology Center or refer to the notice on the military website.

A military official said, “We organized collective education to increase education efficiency due to the high proportion of elderly farmers.” “If COVID-19 continues to spread across the country and it is judged that the safety of the military is a little dangerous, we will immediately switch to online education and promote it.” Said.

On the other hand, Yeongdong-gun is focusing on supplying farming technologies and strengthening the capabilities of local farmers through customized farming guidance projects in the COVID-19 era, such as online farming education using its own human resources.
