이번 사업은 관내 숙박 및 목욕업소 총 2개소를 선정해 진행된다. 선정된 업소에는 노후 시설을 교체하거나 개선하는 데 필요한 비용의 50%를 지원하며, 지원 한도는 업소당 최대 1,000만 원이다. 다만, 가전제품이나 소모성 물품 구매 비용은 지원 대상에서 제외된다.

지원 자격은 공고일 기준으로 충주시에서 2년 이상 영업을 지속하고 있는 개인 영업주(법인 제외)에 한하며, 지원금 외에 본인 부담금을 이행할 수 있는 여건을 갖춰야 한다. 시는 신청 업소를 대상으로 사업의 적합성 등을 종합적으로 심사해 최종 대상자를 선정할 방침이다.
