【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청이 학교와 지역사회의 경계를 허물고 아이들을 함께 키우는 ‘온동네 방과후·돌봄’ 실현을 위해 현장의 목소리를 청취했다.

충북교육청은 4일, 교육감실에서 충북지역아동센터연합회 임원단과 소통 간담회를 가졌다. 이번 자리는 충북형 늘봄학교인 ‘충북 나우 방과후·돌봄’의 안정적인 운영과 더불어, 지역 내 돌봄 인프라를 유기적으로 연결하는 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 간담회에는 윤건영 교육감을 비롯해 행정국장, 학생복지팀장 등 도교육청 실무진이 대거 참석해 지역아동센터 관계자들과 머리를 맞댔다. 양측은 학생 중심의 통합 지원을 확대하기 위한 구체적인 협력 과제들을 논의했다.

주요 논의 사항으로는 ▲광역·기초 단위 방과후·돌봄협의체 운영 내실화 ▲학생 맞춤 통합 지원 체계 구축을 위한 상호 협력 ▲디지털 교육 격차 해소를 위한 질 높은 프로그램 지원 ▲학교복합시설 내 돌봄 거점 공간의 지역 돌봄기관 운영 방안 등이 심도 있게 다뤄졌다.

특히 교육청은 이번 간담회에서 나온 현장의 제안을 토대로 지자체 및 지역 돌봄기관과의 협업을 더욱 공고히 할 계획이다. 지역별·학교별 특성을 살린 맞춤형 돌봄 모델을 개발해 돌봄 공백을 최소화한다는 구상이다.
