영동군은 봉사자들의 사기 진작과 복지 향상을 위해 헌신적인 활동을 이어온 자원봉사자를 대상으로 ‘자원봉사자 건강검진 지원사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 나눔과 봉사를 실천하는 자원봉사자들이 정기적인 건강검진을 통해 건강을 관리하고, 지속 가능한 봉사 환경을 조성할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련된 복지 시책이다.

지원 대상은 꾸준히 봉사활동에 참여해 온 이들 중 ▲누적 봉사시간 1,000시간 이상이며 ▲2025년 기준 연간 200시간 이상의 활동 실적을 보유한 자원봉사자다. 군은 심의 과정을 거쳐 최종 지원 대상자를 선정할 계획이다.

선정된 자원봉사자가 올해 5월 이후 실시한 건강검진 영수증을 제출하면, 1인당 최대 20만 원 이내에서 검진 비용을 실비로 지원받을 수 있다.

신청 접수는 지난 1일부터 시작됐으며 예산이 소진될 때까지 선착순으로 진행된다. 참여를 희망하는 봉사자는 영동군자원봉사센터(☏043-742-1365)를 통해 대상자 자격 여부를 미리 확인한 후 신청하면 된다.
