【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주 중원문화의 정수이자 남한강 수운 문화의 상징인 ‘2026 목계별신제’가 오는 5월 2일부터 3일까지 이틀간 충주시 엄정면 목계나루 일원에서 화려하게 펼쳐진다.

엄정면 축제추진위원회가 주최하고 중원목계문화보존회와 충주문화관광재단이 주관하는 이번 축제는 마을의 안녕과 풍요를 기원하는 별신굿을 중심으로 다양한 민속 행사와 현대적 공연이 어우러질 예정이다.
